Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
This Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus draws its daily devotions from the Litany of the Sacred Heart. Each day reflects on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs on the Sacred Heart and offers opportunities for prayer and action, framed by Pope Francis’ encyclical Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us) and Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic exhortation Dilexi Te (I Have Loved You). Join the U.S. Church from June 3-11 in praying this Novena to the Sacred Heart, which will conclude with the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Archdiocese of Detroit - The Restructuring ProcessOn the weekend of November 15-16, the Archdiocese of Detroit formally announced the process for restructuring of the Archdiocese, a time of intentional renewal. We are embarking on a two year journey of discernment and planning leading to a thoughtful restructuring of our parishes and buildings, with implementation beginning in 2027. For matters of sexual abuse by clergy or other church representatives, you are urged to contact local law enforcement and/or the Michigan Attorney General’s Office at (844) 324-3374 or [email protected]. Individuals also may contact the Archdiocese of Detroit by visiting protect.aod.org, calling the toll-free, 24/7 victim assistance line at (866) 343-8055 or emailing [email protected]. There are no time limits or restrictions on individuals wishing to report abuse. Every complaint shared with the Archdiocese of Detroit, regardless of its source or the date of the alleged activity, is reported to civil authorities.
To report an allegation of abuse or mishandling of allegations of sexual abuse by a bishop please visit the Catholic Bishop Abuse Reporting Service website.
For matters related to financial misconduct, the Archdiocese encourages any staff member, volunteer, or parishioner to report possible financial misconduct. The Archdiocese uses EthicsPoint, an independent third party company, to administer the archdiocesan financial misconduct hotline. Reports may be filed electronically or by phone at 855-234-9774.
